
NEW LENOX, IL — The Lincoln-Way District 210 Board of Education on Saturday announced the appointment of Joe Kirkeeng.
Kirkeeng currently serves as the Executive Vice President of First Secure Bank and Trust. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Lewis University, and has been involved in many civic organizations including Presence St. Joseph’s Medical Center, United Cerebral Palsy of Will County and Lincoln-Way High School Music Boosters. Kirkeeng also served on the New Lenox Grade School District 122 School Board, and currently serves on the Lincoln-Way District 210 Finance and Building Committee.
"Mr. Kirkeeng’s background, experience and commitment to education will further strengthen our board. We are excited to see our new members contribute to the Lincoln-Way mission," said Board President, Dee Molinare.

It is anticipated that Kirkeeng will be formally seated at the next board meeting, scheduled for June 16, along with fellow new board member Joseph Kosteck. The two fill seats vacated by Dr. Arvid Johnson and Dr. Kathleen Casey.
