Blood Behind Dummy's Lounge, Bullet Holes in Man's Cheeks

The bullet went in one side of Midlothian man's face and out the other on the night he went out to buy some liquor.

A Midlothian man returned home from a trip to a liquor store April 2 with a bullet wound to his face.

The 21-year-old man was shot during an armed robbery in an alleyway behind his apartment in the 3400 block of W. 147th St., Chicago Tribune reports. The man's brother told police he was spitting up blood and had finger-sized holes in his cheeks.

He said a man in a hoodie tried to rob him. Where? He scrawled the word "alley" on a piece of paper. He didn't know his assailant's ethnicity. Police tracked a blood trail east to its end behind Dummy's Lounge, 3358 W. 147th St.
