Missing Oak Forest Girl, 13, Found: Police
Vanessa Montiel of Oak Forest, last seen at the Red Roof Inn in Joliet Thursday afternoon, has been found, according to police.
OAK FOREST IL, IL — Vanessa Montiel, a missing 13-year-old from Oak Forest, has been found and is waiting to be reunited with family, according to the Oak Forest Police Department.
According to police, Montiel was last seen around noon Thursday at the Red Roof Inn, 1750 McDonough St. in Joliet, and may have been headed to Mexico with a 21-year-old man.
Police initially believed Vanessa had been traveling with 21-year-old Israel Nino Flores in a silver Nissan Murano with an unknown license plate, headed to Puebla, Mexico.
