Missing Man Frequents Oak Forest: Police
Lane Campbell, 50, has been missing since mid-February. He was seen in Oak Forest the morning of his disappearance, reports say.

OAK FOREST, IL — Chicago police say 50-year-old Lane G. Campbell has been missing since Feb. 19. Campbell lives in Chicago but is known to frequent Oak Forest, police said.
The Missing Persons Awareness Network said Campbell was at his girlfriend's house near Walnut Road in Oak Forest when she left the home, only to return and find that he was gone, with her car still there.
The site said that while she was away, Campbell took his girlfriend's car to a Shell gas station, 15901 Crawford Ave. in Markham. Campbell was seen in surveillance footage at 7:59 a.m., according to the Missing Persons Awareness Network.

Family members believe Campbell, a Chicago attorney, may have gone back to his apartment in the Buena Park neighborhood before traveling back to Oak Forest, WBBM reported.

Campbell had packed an overnight bag and brought it with him to his girlfriend's house. The bag was later found in his Chicago residence, where his car was also found, a friend told Block Club Chicago.
The Missing Persons Awareness Network said Campbell may have his keys, wallet and cell phone.
Campbell and works for Northwestern University's office for research, Block Club Chicago reported. The university released a statement saying it has "been in contact with his family and is providing police information that we hope will aid in his swift and safe return."
Police said Campbell is 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
