Oak Forest Blue Demons Host Meet And Greet
Meeting the families of the fallen soldiers that they so proudly display on the backs of their jerseys
In what can only be described as an amazing night, our 10U Blue Demonshad the honor of meeting the families of the fallen soldiers whose names they so proudly display on the backs of their jerseys. See previous Patch article regarding the Memorial Day Tournament:

They had the privilege of hosting a BBQ to say thank you to the parents for allowing them to display their names, and to learn a little more about our fallen heroes. It was an honor and a privilege to be able to meet these amazing families and to say thank you.

A huge thank you goes out to Paul Selman and the Oak Forest Veterans Commission for helping us put this together, to John Staszak for all his time and effort in making this happen, to the families of our heroes for sharing a little bit of their sons lives with us, and most importantly, to these soldiers, who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
It was an amazing night that our young Blue Demons will never forget.
