Oak Forest Cross County Team Commerate 9/11 With Memorial Jerseys
At a Cross Country Meet held at Central Park, the OFHS Cross Country Team showed their National Spirit by Wearing Special Jerseys

The Oak Forest High School Cross Country Team demonstrated their American spirit yesterday at their meet with commemorative jerseys inspired for 9/11. The team wore their Red White And Blue jerseys for the conference meet held at Central Park. The day was gorgeous with blue skies and green fields. The team took their mark and held their own. As everyone watched these young adults run their events, you really felt the impact of the day.
Team coaches were behind the jerseys and felt it was important to remember the important day that the competition was held. As parents and supporters alike watched their kids cross the finish line, a special feeling took hold. The feeling of country and spirit of America was felt. It was special, it was good, it was emotional.
We will all remember where we were that day, that minute, that moment. Thank you to the OFHS Cross Country Team for commemorating the feeling of America. In this emotional political climate, it many times takes our youth to remind us, that we are all on the same team.
