Oak Forest High School's Chess Team Heads To State

Oak Forest High School sends their best and brightest down state for the IHSA Chess Competition

Off they went yesterday to represent Oak Forest High School at the State Competition of chess masterminds. The Chess Team has been meeting for almost 6 months practicing their strategy, perfecting their pawn ram and castling. They have had many competitions that have placed them at this stratosphere of competition, winning regional competitions. Kaitlyn Marovich, is a teacher at Oak Forest and the adviser of the group and she could not be prouder of her team's accomplishments.
