Oak Forest Police To Sell 6 Seized Cars
A public viewing of six forfeited cars will be held later this month.
OAK FOREST, IL -- The city of Oak Forest Police Department plans to sell six cars that have been seized and forfeited. Photos of the cars are available on the city of Oak Forest Facebook page and more information about them is posted on Craigslist.
The city has already begun accepting bids for the cars. The sealed bids must be mailed to City Clerk David Neuman, City of Oak Forest, 15440 S. Central Ave., Oak Forest, IL 60452. Bids are due by 8 a.m. on Sept. 7.
A public viewing of the vehicles is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. at City Hall. Test drives won't be offered.

There are minimum reserves on these vehicles, according to the city. If the reserve is not met on a vehicle, it will not be sold. All sales will be final.
