Ricky Rockets Midlothian Grand Opening Is Friday

MIDLOTHIAN, IL -- The grand opening for the new Ricky Rockets Fuel Center in Midlothian has numerous giveaways and events planned for Friday, Oct. 13. Ricky Rockets Midlothian covers 8,400 square feet at the corner of 147th Street and Cicero near the Oak Forest border.

The fuel center will feature a full Ozzie's deli, state-of-the-art car wash and 24-hour gaming, according to a news release. The new store will also have 14 gas pumps, an electric vehicle charging station and three truck diesel lanes. There will also be parking for truck drivers.

"Ricky Rockets is not your typical gas station," according to the release. "We offer a clean, spacious and comfortable environment including free wifi and a large seating area—perfect for families or business people."

Friday's grand opening will include:

• Free car washes, fountain drinks, and hot dogs from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
• Raffling off a snowboard from Monster and car wash packages
• Giveaway items include t-shirts, water bottles, frisbees, mini footballs, air freshners, charging cables, soap, and key chains
• Big 500-pound pumpkin carving at 3:00 p.m.
• Milk on sale $1.99 for a gallon of 2% (usually over $3)
• Beer on sale, $6.99 for a 12-pack of Bud Light or Miller Lite
• Half off car wash packages- $14.99/month
