Solar Industry Job Fair Planned At Raday Lodge In Midlothian

MIDLOTHIAN, IL — A dozen solar companies will be looking to hire on Wednesday during a solar energy industry job fair at the Raday Lodge, 3220 W. 145th St. in Midlothian. The fair is open to the public from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, according to a spokesman from State Rep. Will Davis' office.

Davis will host the fair with the Illinois Solar Energy Association, a dozen solar companies, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and five job-training organizations.

Attendees will learn about the industry, network with companies hiring in the south suburbs and throughout the region and get resources on job-training opportunities, according to Davis' office.

Among the entities that will be at the fair are Ailey Solar Electric, Aloha Solar, Elevate Energy, Fresh Coast Solar, GRNE Solar, Hispanic American Construction Industry Association, Hummingbird Electric, IBEW Local 134, Millennium Solar, MKD Electric, Rethink Electric, SunRun, Safer Foundation, SunPower, Sun N Us Solar, Vivint Solar and WCP Solar.
