Interested learners at a Oak Forest-Crestwood Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon picked up social media tips from Robin Curtner.

OAK FOREST, IL — A packed house of eager learners picked up some social media networking tips from Robin Curtner, the owner of the Magical Marketing By Robin social media marketing firm during a "Lunch & Learn" at the Beggars Pizza on Cicero Avenue in Oak Forest last week. The event, which cost $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members, sold out at 50 guests.
"It was an incredible luncheon with a variety of professionals from the Oak Forest and local area," Curtner said. "Guests were greeted, checked- in and offered a buffet of pizza, food and desserts."
Curtner spoke for an hour about "social networking," a term that combines networking and social media. She provided handouts with samples, examples and statistics for each guest.
