The Tie a Teal Ribbon Foundation has been tying teal ribbons in Oak Forest, and other suburbs to mark National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month . We are hoping to raise awareness to this disease which is one of the most deadly of all cancers in women.
Women should be informed of some of the signs and symptoms which may include: bloating and abdominal pain, indigestion, heartburn, unusual fatigue, frequent urination.
There is no early detection for this disease so women should seek medical advise if symptoms persist two weeks or longer.
