Tinley Park Police Warn of Burglaries in Area
Residents are advised to keep an eye out for suspicious activity.

Tinley Park, IL — Tinley Park police are advising residents to be vigilant after a string of recent burglaries.
Three residential burglaries and one attempted residential burglary have occurred in the 17400 block of South 66th Avenue, the 16900 block of Shannon Drive, the 7800 block of West 160th Street and the 17000 block of Bedford Lane. The crimes occurred during the day and at night.
In the case on Bedford Lane, the crime occurred around 9:30 p.m., and the homeowners were home. There were no injuries, and the suspect fled before police arrived.

The Tinley Park Police Department does not believe the same person is responsible for all of the crimes.
Residents are reminded to lock their doors, have well-lit entrances and call 911 to report any suspicious persons or suspicious activities.
