Victim In Fatal Crash Near 147th Street In Midlothian Identified

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said Alexander Tucker died after a July 11 crash.

MIDLOTHIAN, IL — A 23-year-old Midlothian man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash near 147th Street last weekend. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said this week Alexander Joseph Tucker, of the 14300 block of Waverly Street died of multiple injuries due to a motor vehicle crash.

Witnesses told Patch the crash occurred around 3 a.m. on July 11 near the Midlothian Country Club. The official address listed by the Medical Examiner is in the 5000 block of Golf Court, which is in the area.

The witness also said utility poles in the area were down as a result of the crash and power then went out in the area for several hours. A ghost bike in memory of the victim has been placed at the location, the witness said.

Multiple members of the Midlothian Police Department had been reached on Thursday, but were not available to provide additional information on the crash.
