OAK FOREST, IL – Expect southbound lane closures on Cicero Avenue as culverts are improved in the next phase of construction that is designed to upgrade roads and roadways near Cicero and 159th Street.

After the southbound lanes are reopened, expect the same work to happen on the northbound lanes, the Illinois Department of Transportation reported.

City of Oak Forest officials also said that new sidewalks and curbs have been built along 159th, and a new bus stop is complete at Cicero.
