The store's merchandise is discounted up to 70 percent off through Sunday.

OAK PARK, IL --- Another beloved Oak Park business has announced that it plans to shut its doors. After 33 years in the village, Oak Park Jewelers will close its doors as owners Ron Nikel and Gary Ciccione plan to head into retirement.

Nikel and Ciccione announced the upcoming closure in a post on Facebook Monday, which triggered an outpouring of comments from villagers lamenting the news. Several social media users commented that they were happy for the pair's upcoming retirement but "sad to see [them] go." Others described the news of the closure as "bittersweet."

Oak Park Jewelers is offering a sale of up to 70 percent off all items as its final days in business approach. The sale will go on through Nov. 18.
