OPRF Food Pantry Addresses Hunger Problem in Q&A, Free Documentary Screening

Hunger Problem: How Can We Help? 
The Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry on Sunday will hold a documentary screening, to open a dialogue about how to help with hunger issues as the holidays approach.

The food pantry's second free screening of A Place at the Table, an eye-opening documentary about hunger in America, will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at First United Church of Oak Park, 848 Lake St.

In a recent post on Patch, blogger Dave Wittekind shared a Q&A with OPRF Food Pantry Community Program Manager Kristi Braun, which addresses the hunger problem in our area, how the latest round of stamp cuts have affected food pantries and how residents can help.
