Asian Fusion Cuisine Coming To Oak Park Arts District
MORA Asian Kitchen is set to open on Harrison Street this spring.

OAK PARK, IL — Diners in Oak Park will soon be able to add an Asian fusion restaurant to the ever-growing lists of food spots to try in the village's arts district. MORA Asian Kitchen, which currently has restaurants in Bolingbrook and Plainfield, is gearing up to open on Harrison Street this spring, according to the Oak Park Economic Development Corporation.
The restaurant serves a variety of sushi rolls and small plates made in the Japanese robata style, which uses extreme heat to grill heavily marinated meats. The menu at MORA Asian Kitchen also includes such items as braised pork belly with adobo sauce, wings slathered in Korean chili sauce, and tempura-fried rock shrimp served with candied walnuts.
The sushi selection at MORA offers a variety of traditional and signature rolls. Standout items include the "Mexican standoff," which combines crab and shrimp tempura with pico de gallo and guacamole and the "earth and ocean," a roll stuffed with marinated skirt steak, crab, and pickled daikon.
