Bagpipes, Irish Dancing At FitzGerald's St. Pat's Celebration
Head to FitzGerald's on St. Patrick's Day to see bagpipers, Irish dancers, folk rockers, and more.

BERWYN, IL — The walls of FitzGerald's will reverberate with the lilting sounds of bagpipes and the beats of Irish drums for its annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration on March 17. The festivities include performances by the Mayer School Irish Dancers, Fitz & the Celts, the Shannon Rovers, and more.
During the festivities, revelers can refuel with corned beef, cabbage, and other traditional Irish fare from a special menu prepared by chef Tom "Festival" Cimms.

The celebration, which will sprawl from the venue's sidebar to an outdoor heated tent, begins at 2 p.m. with a performance by Mayer School Irish Dancers. Led by brother and sister John and Mary Mayer, the dancers have competed and placed in competitions throughout the U.S. and in Ireland. The team will dance to rousing Irish folk tunes until 6 p.m.
At 7 p.m., The Dooley Brothers take the stage to perform American and western Irish folk music in addition to acoustic and jazz song. With more than 50 years of experience performing at Irish pubs throughout Chicago's north side and the greater U.S., the Dooley Brothers are sure to get the crowd dancing.

Fitz & The Celts will mix it up a little at 10 p.m. with a mixture of traditional Irish tunes and high-energy covers of modern songs by The Pogues and The Waterboys.
Sidebar Shows
Grab a Guinness and head to the sidebar at FitzGerald's at 9 p.m. to catch Cannonball, a Chicago band led by two lead guitarists that perform rockabilly, punk, blues, and country tunes.
According to FitzGerald's the Shannon Rovers will make a special stop with their bagpipes, drums, and dancers in tow to perform a set of authentic Irish music.
