Body Of Missing Oak Park Man Found In Cook County: Police
According to Oak Park police, 77-year-old Claude Hughes was found dead Friday afternoon after missing for nearly two weeks.

OAK PARK, IL — An Oak Park man missing for nearly two weeks was found dead Friday afternoon in the Forest Preserves of Cook County, the Oak Park Police Department said. According to police, 77-year-old Claude Hughes was found at 1st Avenue near the Des Plaines River. The police department added that Hughes' family had been notified, and sends their deepest condolences to his family.
Police said Hughes, who has dementia, vanished from his home sometime between the night of July 26 and the morning of July 27.
The Cook County Sheriff’s Office will oversee the death investigation, according to police.
