Candy Thief Snags Full Box of Snickers from an Oak Park Gas Station: Police

Anyone have an idea of why?

A candy thief made an appearance at the Shell gas station on the 100 block of Harrison in Oak Park last week when he entered the store, stole an entire large box of Snickers bars, and left without paying.

The man, who's described as a black male between 18 and 22 years old, was described as wearing a jacket with a black hood and sleeves over a lighter-colored body. Witnesses said the man was an average height and build and was wearing blue jeans.

The theft took place around 6:30 p.m. The total estimated loss of all the candy bars is $28.
