The Buzz Café - 905 S. Lombard St., is offering two special Mother’s Day treats for take out in addition to their usual weekend brunch specials. First, you choose a customizable whole Quiche for $25 large enough for 4 to 6 people. For dessert you could order one of their delicious 10 inch pies from $25 to $29 each. They are also featuring a special dish at the restaurant in honor of the day – Strawberry-Lemon Stuffed French Toast ($13) – that may also be available for takeout. The Little Gem - 189 N. Marion St., also has an extensive and impressive take out brunch menu that mother will no doubt appreciate. It includes brioche French toast, quiche, omelets, eggs benedict and pancakes with entrees running from $12 to $16. If you want to celebrate at dinner entrees include Australian Sea Bass, Pasta, Filet Mignon and Seafood Risotto and run from $19 to $34. Side dishes, salads and desserts are extra. The Eastgate Café - 102 Harrison Street (menu featured above), takes a different approach, offering take out for two served family style. The special menu offers a choice of entrees including broiled salmon, prime tenderloin, Chicken Wellington and a Quiche. Whatever your entrée selection, it comes with two gourmet side dishes, salad, freshly baked bread sticks and dessert! All for just $56 for two or $29 for a single serving.
