Dominick's Cuts Hours, Slashes Prices as Final Days Near
Oak Park's Dominick's store at 259 Lake St. is no longer accepting returns as of Dec. 13, and will now close at 10 p.m. until the store closes forever at 12 p.m. Dec. 28. Most store merchandise is half off as they clear the shelves. 

Police Urge Holiday Shoppers to Stay Alert
With just over a week left before Christmas, Oak Park police are urging shoppers to stay alert and keep a watch on their things during a time that typically sees an increase in thefts. Bags and purses left unattended in shopping carts or hanging from the corner of a restaurant chair are among the favorite targets of thieves. Items left clearly visible in vehicles
also are prime targets, police said.
