Donate Coats, Toys For Families In Need In Oak Park
Three locations will be accepting donations to benefit Austin Family and Community Center.

OAK PARK, IL --- This holiday season, Oak Parkers can give back to the community by donating toys and new or gently used coats to benefit local families in need. Donations will be accepted at three locations throughout the village from Nov. 26 through Dec. 9.
The drive, which is made possible through the efforts of Suburban Unity Alliance, will have three drop-off points throughout Oak Park. Residents can drop off their donation items at the following locations:
- Oak Park-River Forest High School Student Activities Center, 201 N. Scoville
- Oak Park Temple, 1235 Harlem
- EAU Methodist Church, 405 S. Euclid
In a post on social media, Anthony Clark of Suburban Unity Alliance said donations would be picked up on Dec. 10 and shipped to Austin Family and Community Center. Clark urged residents to take part in the drive and to "help spread the word."
