Driver Hijacked by 2 Gunmen Monday: Oak Park Police

The stolen Kia Forte was last seen on Iowa Street.

A car was reportedly hijacked at gunpoint Monday evening in the 100 block of Iowa Street, Oak Park police have reported.

Just before 10 p.m. Feb. 13, a man wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans allegedly approached someone driving a 2017 Kia Forte, tapped on the driver's window and showed the driver a silver revolver before demanding they get out of the car, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male standing between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot tall. While the driver exited the Kia, another man wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing showed the driver another gun and got into the passenger's side of the car.
