DUI
Police charged Eva Valerio, 44, of Chicago, with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a revoked license during a traffic stop near the intersection of Harlem and Augusta avenues around 2:10 a.m. She was charged with misdemeanor DUI.Suspended License Arrest
Forest Park police charged Jared Ross, 21, of Oak Park, with driving on a suspended license, with suspended registration and without insurance during a traffic stop at the intersection of Harlem Avenue and 16th Street around 4 p.m. He was given a Feb. 11 court date and released.Thursday, January 2
$700 Stolen From River Forest Home
Someone stole $700 from a home in the 0-100 block of Franklin Avenue. The victim told police they believed the money was taken by a new cleaning crew.Tablet Stolen From Verizon
Someone stole a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 tablet from Verizon Wireless, 7261 W. Lake St., around 6:45 p.m. Police said the offender was described as a male in his 30s. The total estimated loss is $800, police said.Tuesday, December 31
Felony Retail Theft Arrest
Police charged Joseph Chamberlain, 25, of Lombard, with felony retail theft after he stole three bottles of vodka, worth about $116, from Jewel, 7525 W. Lake St., around 4 p.m.Monday, December 30
Felony Driving While License Revoked
Forest Park police charged Anthony Bowman, 46, of River Forest, with felony driving while license revoked during a traffic stop at the intersection of Harlem Avenue and Randolph Street around 4:45 p.m. Bowman told police he knew he had a suspended license because of a DUI conviction, but was taking his wife to the hospital. He was given a Feb. 2 court date and released.Sunday, December 29
