Forest Preserves to Host Winter Exploration Days in River Forest
The winter exploration event will take place March 12.
River Forest, IL - The Forest Preserves of Cook County will host Winter Exploration Days from noon to 4 p.m. March 12 at the Thatcher Woods Pavilion in River Forest.
The event offers a chance for families to enjoy snowshoe nature hikes and sledding, weather permitting, according to the forest preserves. There will also be winter crafts, a campfire and more.
Winter Exploration Days is a free event for all ages.
