Fresh Thyme Grocery to Open in Early 2016

North Avenue in River Forest is getting greener. With the help of Fresh Thyme Farmers Market the street is expected to bloom with new commerce in early spring.

The Chicago Tribune reports the 20,000 square- foot building and former home of Dominick’s grocery store is under construction, and will open this spring.

Since Dominick’s closed, bigger grocery stores took over the area and village administrators are happy to have larger, national chains in the mix.
