Get Musical At Family Drum Jam At HeartGarden In Oak Park
HeartGarden will provide percussion instruments for a family drum jam on Jan. 20.
OAK PARK, IL — As most parents with pots and pans know, kids like to bang on things. HeartGarden's Family Drum Jam gives youngsters the chance to get some of that energy out and channel their inner drummer with instruments already provided.
Pint-sized percussionists and their parents will be guided by professional percussion player John Stolfe during the drum jam. The event will take place at HeartGarden, 911 S. Lombard Ave. on Jan. 20 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per family.
Later in the day, Stolfe will run another session for grownups at HeartGarden. The adult drum jam is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and costs $15 per person.
