Intersection Closed At Lake And Marion Streets For Project
According to the Village of Oak Park, here's where pickup sites for businesses located downtown are available during the closure.
OAK PARK, IL — The Village of Oak Park announced Tuesday that the intersection of Lake and Marion streets is closed for at least two weeks as crews rebuild the intersection and install new crosswalks. According to the village, pickup sites for restaurants and businesses located downtown are available on Maple and Forest avenues and in the parking lots on Marion Street, north and south of Lake Street. Nearby parking garages are also an option, according to the village.
The village said when crews finish work on Lake and Marion, they will move east to rebuild the intersection at Lake and Forest.
All work is part of the Lake Street Improvement Project.
