Man Charged in Melrose Park Shooting,

Tuesday morning shooting left man dead, 14-year-old critically injured, police said.

A man was charged in connections with the Melrose Park shooting that killed one man and injured a 14-year-old boy, ABC 7 reports.

Ellezer Torres, 22, allegedly shot the victims while they were in their car on the 1100 block of 24th Avenue around 12:32 a.m. on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old man died from gunshot wounds later that night and the 14-year-old boy is now in stable condition, ABC 7 reports.

Police are reporting the victims may have known the shooter before the incident, ABC 7 reports.
