Melrose Park Shooting Kills Man, Teen Critically Injured
Suspect in custody after shooting kills man, 14-year-old critically injured.

A suspected shooter is in custody after a 21-year-old man was shot and killed and a 14-year-old boy was critically injured in Melrose Park early Tuesday morning, according to the Chicago Tribune.
A gunman fired shots at the victim’s car on the 1100 block of 24th Avenue around 12:32 a.m., the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Franciso Diaz was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:05 a.m. while the teen remains in critical condition at a local hospital.
