Mora Asian Kitchen Opens In Oak Park Arts District
The restaurant will host its grand opening on Oct. 4.

OAK PARK, IL — The Oak Park Arts District is now home to a new upscale restaurant that brings a robata twist to traditional sushi dishes. At Mora Asian Fusion Kitchen, which hosts its grand opening Thursday, chefs use robatayaki cooking techniques to prep salmon, pork belly, and tiger shrimp dishes they serve alongside an extensive menu of sushi and sashimi.
The sushi selection at Mora includes classic rolls like the spicy tuna and the Republic of California, along with signature rolls that range from the guacamole-topped Mexican standoff to the Bayou, which wraps crawfish, onions, cucumber, and avocado in soy paper seasoned with Cajun Bay butter remoulade.
If you're interested in sampling the robatayaki cuisine, try seared skewers of lemongrass beef or soy-glazed king mushrooms. Diners can wash down eats with a selection of sake, cider, or a craft cocktail. Beer and wine choices are also available.
