Neurologists join Elmhurst Neurosciences Institute

Vinny Sharma, DO, and Sana Syed, DO, board-certified neurologists, have joined the Elmhurst Neurosciences Institute.

Dr. Sharma received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Penn. He completed his residency in neurology and fellowship in vascular neurology at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System in Chicago. Dr. Sharma is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Stroke Association.

Dr. Sharma’s clinical interests include Alzheimer’s, aneurysm, brain tumors, carpal tunnel syndrome, carotid disease, degenerative diseases of the spine, double vision, epilepsy, headaches, herniated discs, multiple sclerosis, neck pain, Parkinson’s disease, sciatica, seizure disorders, stroke, TIA, migraine and dementia.

Dr. Syed received her medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology and completed her internship and residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Syed is a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
