New Physician At The Oak Park Arms

A board-certified Internal Medicine specialist, Premesh Malapati, M.D., has a new office at the Oak Park Arms Senior Living Community located at 408 S. Oak Park Ave, Oak Park.

Dr. Malapati has more than 26 years’ experience caring for geriatric patients. His expertise is evaluating patients, offering continuity of care, and understanding the importance of the overall patient experience in the office as well as at home.

He is affiliated with Rush Oak Park Hospital, West Suburban Medical Center, Gottlieb Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital.

Dr. Malapati developed an interest in medicine from his father who is a primary care physician. That interest led him to pursue higher education in Life Sciences. In 1995, he graduated from Osmania University Medical School in India.

“I find it rewarding to understand not only a patient’s medical problems but also his or her physical, personal, and emotional circumstances,” he said. “My job is to deliver the very best care to the patient.”

His office honors most major HMO, PPO, and conventional insurance plans as well as Medicare and some Medicaid plans.
