No Injuries After Car Crashes Into The Onion Roll, Police Said

A car crashed into the outdoor seating area of the Jewish deli, crushing a tree, planters and bricks from the building, workers said.

OAK PARK, IL — A car crashed into the front of a building on the 6000 block of West North Avenue Monday morning, Oak Park officials said.

The vehicle crashed into the outdoor seating area of Jewish deli, The Onion Roll, while driving eastbound on North Avenue at about 7 a.m.

Oak Park police told Patch there were no serious injuries reported in the crash.

A spokesperson at the restaurant said Monday afternoon the deli is still open for business. The car only damaged some of the outdoor seating and planters, they said. No staff was injured in the crash.
