Oak Park 2018 Fourth Of July Guide: Parade, Fireworks, Fun
What to expect at Oak Park's 2018 Fourth of July celebration.

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park has a reputation for going all out to celebrate Fourth of July and 2018 will be no exception. The village's festivities will start with the Independence Day Parade at 10 a.m. on July 4 and will close out with a dazzling fireworks display, if weather permits.
Dozens of floats, vintage cars, and marching bands will fill the streets for the parade, which is set to begin at Longfellow Park and then make its way north on Ridgeland. The roster includes community groups, schools, businesses, social activists, artists, and more.
If the weather cooperates, the village will put on a fireworks show at dusk at the Oak Park-River Forest High School football stadium.
