Oak Park Artisans & Crafters Boutique To Close After 40 Years
The store's last day of business will be on Dec. 29.

OAK PARK, IL --- Another beloved Oak Park business is shutting its doors for good. Artisans and Crafters Unique Boutique of the Oak Park Women's Exchange announced via Facebook Tuesday that they plan to close on Dec. 29 after nearly 45 years in Oak Park.
Established in 1974, Artisans and Crafters Unique Boutique features hand-crafted jewelry, soaps, glassware, and other items made by artists in the Oak Park area. The non-profit's website states that its purpose has been to "help people help themselves intellectually, creatively, culturally, socially, and financially, and in so doing contribute to the community."
The boutique store recently decorated its last holiday window display, one of its many traditions that Oak Parkers have come to look forward to. Other annual traditions have been the boutique's yearly craft fair and its work for Project Linus.
