Oak Park Coronavirus Case Numbers Reported From Weekend

The new cases reported Monday range from residents under the age of 20 to residents in their 50s, according to Oak Park health officials.

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park's Public Health Director announced that 14 more village residents have tested positive for the coronavirus since the last local report Friday, according to the Village of Oak Park. Of those 14 cases, eight were reported on Saturday, three on Sunday and three Monday, according to officials. The cases reported Monday range from residents under the age of 20 to residents in their 50s.

According to state data, 397 Oak Park residents have tested positive since the first case was reported in Oak Park on March 18, and health officials added that totals are sometimes "adjusted as information is verified."

The village added that local updates are now being posted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

On Friday, Oak Park health officials an emergency travel guidance, instructing travelers entering or residents returning to Oak Park from states with high numbers of coronavirus cases (rates) to quarantine for 14 days.
