Oak Park Coronavirus Update: 58 New Cases As Of Monday

The cases reported Monday range in ages from less than 20 into their 70s.​​

OAK PARK, IL — Fifty-eight residents have tested positive for the coronavirus since the last report on Friday, the Oak Park Department of Public Health announced Monday.

Twenty-three cases were reported Saturday, 22 on Sunday and 13 on Monday.

The cases reported Monday range in ages from less than 20 into their 70s.

According to state data, 1,782 Oak Park residents have tested positive since the first case was reported in the village on March 18.

The total number of cases sometimes must be adjusted as residency information is verified, village officials stressed.

As of Tuesday, the Illinois Department of Public Health, 804,174 have tested positive for the coronavirus and 13,487 have died from the disease.

In Cook County, there have been 159,452 people who've tested positive for the virus and 3,132 have died from the disease.
