Oak Park Farmers Market to Offer Voter Registration This Weekend

From 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oak Park residents will be able to register to vote at the market itself.

The 41st season of the Oak Park Farmers Market is well underway, and this Saturday, the market will also be offering voter registration.

The market is open every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October, but a representative from Oak Park Township will only be available for registration help this Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Saturday also marks just one more month until the Nov. 8 presidential elections.

The farmers market takes place at 460 Lake St. in the Pilgrim Church parking lot. Visitors who wish to register to vote at the market this weekend must bring two forms of identification, one of which has a current address on it. Driver’s licenses, state ID cards, mortgage or lease documents and utility bills are all acceptable forms of ID.

Oak Park residents can also register to vote throughout the regular workweek by going to Village Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, until Oct. 11. The Oak Park Township also offers in-person registration at 105 S. Oak Park Ave.
