Oak Park Police Reports: bike theft, car theft, property damage
Oak Park police reported crimes from Dec. 23 to 26.

The following information is from the Oak Park Police Department.
A perpetrator stole a pink Salvatore Ferragamo wallet from an unattended purse on Wednesday, Dec. 23 on the 600 block of South Maple Street. The wallet contained an Illinois drivers license and credit cards
A perpetrator stole three UPS packages from a front porch overnight on Wednesday, Dec. 23 on the 200 block of Forest Street. The packages contained a Walgreens gift card, phone chargers, an umbrella, pens, jewelry and a cell phone case.

A perpetrator stole a bike overnight on Wednesday Dec. 23, on the 100 block of N. Marion Street. The perpetrator busted through the bike lock and stole a yellow mini mantra bike from the bike rack.
McKennie Albert, 25, of Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic crash on Friday, Dec. 25. Albert was in a crash on the 1100 block of Madison Street and arrested for DUI, driving without a license and an active warrant for driving without a license.

A perpetrator stole a car on Friday, Dec. 25 on the 800 block of N. Austin Boulevard. It is still unclear how the black 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen at 9 a.m. on Friday.
A perpetrator damaged Christmas decorations at a home on the 300 block of S. Ridgeland Avenue on Sunday, Dec. 27. The home suffered an estimated $20 due to damage.
