Age 54, of Joliet, Il and formerly Oak Park, IL passed away early Thursday morning, November 12, 2020 due to injuries sustained from a fall at her home. She was born July 31, 1966 to the late Suzanne (nee Burris) and John “Jack” Corcoran in Oak Park where she was raised and educated, a graduate with the class of 1984 from Oak Park River Forest High School.
She is the loving mother of Matt, Melissa and Danny; proud grandmother of Peyton; dearest companion and friend of Rich Crockett; cherished sister of Maureen Maslauskas, John (Cindy) Corcoran, Beth Corcoran and Peggy (David) McDonnell; beloved niece of several aunts and uncles and fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Katie loved to cook and was known for her famous Irish Soda Bread. She was a Chicago Bears and Blackhawks fan who enjoyed the outdoors.
As it was Katie’s wish cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of her life will take place at a later date when we can all gather again.
