Police Looking for Couple Who Robbed Oak Park Store of One Left Shoe

The shoe is valued around $230.

Police are looking for a young man and woman who allegedly robbed an Oak Park shoe store Tuesday — of one display shoe.

The suspects, described as a black male and female, both in their twenties, allegedly entered Dream Town Shoes in the 1100 block of Lake Street around noon on Feb. 7, according to police reports. They took one Nike left shoe from a center display table and left the store without paying.

The shoe is valued at around $230.

The man was reportedly wearing a light hat, yellow or gold North Face jacket, white pants with black paint splatter and tan boots. The woman was wearing a black jacket, black hoodie and dark yoga pants.
