Snow Parking Ban Lifted In Oak Park
Oak Park officials announced Sunday that the snow parking ban had been lifted.

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park officials have lifted the temporary snow parking ban as of Sunday, which means standard parking rules are back into effect.
The snow parking rules went into effect after Thursday's heavy snowfall. As the snow continued, the village recently sent an alert to remind residents of the snow parking regulations, which begin when there's a snow accumulation of more than two inches.
The village had been ticketing cars that were in violation of these rules.

If the village's snow parking rules have been put into action, street parking is prohibited, along with parking along any designated snow plow routes. On other streets, residents are only permitted to park on one side of the street when snow is over two inches. On odd days, parking is allowed on the odd side of the street and on even days, parking is permitted on the even side of the street.
