School Activities, Oak Park Meetings Canceled Ahead Of Ice Storm
District and village officials are monitoring weather conditions as a dangerous ice storm is set to roll in.

OAK PARK, IL -- Oak Park officials have cancelled village meetings and after school activities for Tuesday due to an ice storm warning that threatens to coat streets in a layer of dangerous ice. Oak Park-River Forest High School and Oak Park Village Hall will close at 5 p.m.
No after school activities, practices, and events at OPRF High School will take place Tuesday afternoon and evening. The school's freshman open house has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m., according to a post from communications director Karin Sullivan.
Oak Park-River Forest High School is working with Districts 90 and 97 to monitor weather conditions. Patch will keep you updated if the schools decide to announce any further cancellations.

The ice storm warning is in effect from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
