From the Village of Oak Park:
Due to the extreme temperatures predicted, all meetings scheduled to be held tonight at Village Hall, 123 Madison St., have been canceled, including the Village Board meeting. The Transportation and Historic Preservation commissions also have canceled their meetings scheduled for tonight.
The Parking Services Center at Village Hall will close at 5 p.m. tonight, instead of its regular 7 p.m. closing time. Items scheduled to be discussed at tonight's Village Board meeting will be moved to the Feb. 3 regular meeting agenda. Village Board agendas and minutes are posted on the Village website.
