Voter Updates From Polls In Oak Park, River Forest
Here's what Patch readers said they experienced at the polls on Tuesday.
OAK PARK-RIVER FOREST, IL — Voters in Oak Park, River Forest and across suburban Cook County had different experiences at their polling places Tuesday.
While Orland Park voters said they experienced issues with voting touch screens not working and machines not accepting paper ballots, it was smooth sailing for some voters in Palatine, who told Patch there was no wait at their precinct's polling place.
In Oak Park, one person said they drove by three polling places Tuesday and saw no lines, praising the village for early voting measures.

"Against the Law!," Mike Lennox told Patch, adding that voters were given Sharpie pens and that these pens bled through the ballot.
But that's not all. According to Lennox, he printed out the Cook County sample ballot Monday and marked what judges he wanted to retain, and brought it with him Tuesday morning. However, Lennox said the ballot wasn't the same as the sample ballot.
"No affiliate to party shown!! Cook County...love it," Lennox added.
