Want a Taste of Spain? Hang Out with Chef Emilio Tonight at the Oak Park Library
Chef Emilio Gervilla, owner of Emilio's Tapas in Hillside, will give a short cooking demonstration tonight at the Oak Park Public Library, followed by a discussion of food, wine and Spanish culture.

Looking for something free and fun to do tonight? How about heading to the Oak Park Public Library for free food and a demonstration of Spanish cooking techniques?
Chef Emilio Gervilla, owner of Emilio's Tapas restaurant in Hillside, will be on hand giving a special demonstration of Spanish cooking and talking about Spanish culture, food and wine.
The demonstration starts Friday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. at the library's main branch, located at 834 Lake St. in Oak Park.

The library will reopen for this special event tonight at 6:40 p.m. The event is free and open to all members of the public.
Those who attend will enjoy a small taste of an authentic Spanish dish and a cash bar of Spanish wines.

About the Chef
Chef Emilio was born in Granada, Spain and grew up working at his father's bakery and tapas bar. In 1998, he opened his own restaurant in Hillside, IL. He is also the owner of Emilio’s Tapas Sol y Nieve near Navy Pier in Chicago. Chicago Magazine has named it one of Chicago's 10 Best New Restaurants.
