117 Grams of Weed Found, $12K Diamonds Stolen: Oswego Blotter

Nov. 25

Mary C. Kennedy, 52, of the 200 block of Devoe Drive in Oswego, was charged with four counts of domestic battery. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of Devoe Drive.

Nov. 26

A guardrail was damaged during a hit and run and at Oswego East High School.

Nov. 27

Jose L. Cano, 55, of the 400 block of S. LaSalle St., was charged with leaving the scene of a crash. The arrest occurred in the 3000 block of Route 34 and Douglas Road.

Police are investigating the theft of $950 from a vehicle in the 200 block of Ogden Falls Blvd.

Nov. 29

Police are investigating a theft in which a diamond pendant and a pair of diamond earrings were stolen from a home in the 500 block of Homeview Drive. They were worth around $12,400.

Nov. 30

Thomas Hinkey, 24, of the 400 block of Prairieview Drive in Oswego, was charged with possession of cannabis between 30-500 grams. Police found Hinkey in possession of around 117 grams of cannabis.
